SCAM WARNING

Have I been scammed?

Little Loans will never contact you to offer you a loan. If you have received an email, text message, or phone call from someone claiming to be from Little Loans, this is likely to be a scam.

Here are some things you can look out for:

Have you been sent a credit agreement from a company claiming to be Little Loans?
Have you been offered a loan of £3,000?
Have you been asked to pay an administration or insurance fee?
Have you been asked to send any money or voucher codes?

If so, it is likely that you have been the victim of a scam. You should report any scam communications to Report Fraud using the online fraud tool.

If you are unsure about an email or text message you have received, please contact us. We are always happy to help.

Before Applying

Is Little Loans a lender?

Little Loans is a credit broker, not a lender. We work with a panel of over 30 lenders to try to match customers with the right loan. If you're matched with a lender, you'll be redirected to their website to complete your application.

Do you charge any fees?

No, our credit broking service is free to use. We will never ask you to send us payment of any kind.
If you've been contacted by someone claiming to work for Little Loans and have been asked to pay a fee, this is a scam. Click here to read more about scams.

Will I be accepted for a loan?

You'll need to be over 18 to use our credit broking service. You'll also need to be a UK resident, have a UK bank account and debit card, and have a regular income. This could include certain benefits. If this sounds like you, you're welcome to check your eligibility for a loan.

What if I have bad credit?

We work with over 30 lenders to try to match you with a loan, some of which are happy to consider customers with a bad credit score or poor credit history. We've put together a guide to bad credit loans.

What if I am on benefits or unemployed?

You may find it more difficult to be matched with a loan if you are unemployed and benefits are your only income. You might find our guide to Loans for People on Benefits helpful.

How much money can I apply for?

You can check your eligibility for a loan from £100 to £10,000. You should only apply for the amount you need and can afford to repay. We've put together some information about applying for a loan that you might find useful. You can also use our handy loan calculator to compare loan amounts and durations.

What's an APR?

A Representative APR is the rate that at least 51% of successful applicants will be offered. You may be offered a higher or lower rate than this, depending on your credit history.

Can I spread my loan repayments?

You may be able to spread your repayments between 3 and 60 months, depending on the amount you're approved to borrow and your lender. You might find our guide to short-term loans helpful.

What's a soft search?

Little Loans will check your eligibility for a loan by carrying out a soft search (sometimes called a soft credit check). A soft search takes a brief look at your credit history without harming your credit score.

What's a hard search?

A hard search (or a hard credit check) is a full look at your credit history. A hard search will affect your credit score and will be visible on your credit report for at least 12 months. Your lender will carry out a hard search before deciding whether to approve your loan.

Can I search for a debt consolidation loan?

You can search for a debt consolidation loan at Little Loans; however, you should make sure that the interest you'll pay on a new loan is not more than the interest you are currently paying on your existing credit account(s).

Will Little Loans make sure my details are secure?

Yes. All your personal data is kept secure and confidential. All the information you provide is stored in compliance with UK GDPR 2018 and kept secure in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

After Applying

Has my application been accepted?

Your result will be shown on your screen in as little as 60 seconds. If you've been matched with a lender, you'll be redirected to their website to finish your application. Lost your connection? Not to worry - our friendly customer care team will be able to help.

When will I get my loan?

If approved, your loan could be sent to your bank account the same day. This may take longer depending on your lender, and if you apply on the weekend or on a bank holiday. There are a small number of lenders who may be able to send your loan to your bank in a matter of hours, and some in minutes. Visit our guide to same-day loans to read more.

What if my application is unsuccessful?

We'll do our best to match you with a loan, but if we can't help you on this occasion, we may show you other products and services you might be interested in. Some of these service providers may charge a fee if you choose to use them.
