How can I apply for a loan with QuidMarket?

  1. Complete the online application. You’ll be asked to provide your personal and financial information, as well as selecting how much money you need to borrow, and how long you’d like to borrow it for.
  2. If your application is provisionally approved, you will be redirected to another screen which will include three documents: the pre-contract, loan agreement, and adequate explanations.
  3. You’ll need to carefully read through each document and ensure that all the information is correct. If you’re happy with everything, you can sign online and finalise your application. You should be aware that pre-approval does not mean that you will automatically be accepted for a loan; according to QuidMarket, ‘this simply means that your application has met the minimum criteria for your application to be reviewed’. Approval will depend on the outcome of the affordability checks, including a hard credit search.
  4. QuidMarket manually process every application they receive. In certain circumstances, your application could be reviewed in two hours.
  5. If your application is approved, your money will be sent to your bank account.

Any application received outside of business hours will be processed the next working day.

If approved, how quickly will I receive my money?

QuidMarket state that they ‘aim to process your application and provide a decision within 2 hours’. However, you should be aware that during ‘busy periods’, processing ‘may take a little longer’.

QuidMarket deposit funds using the Faster Payment System (FPS). Please bear in mind that the time it takes for the money to appear in your account will depend on your bank’s policies and procedures, such as if they accept Faster Payments.
